JK Rattan.ca offer handmade natural rattan home décor products with stylish, unique and affordable. Our rattan home décor products collections covering entire your sweet home and office such as rattan baskets, storage bin, tray, utensils, pen holders for your office, living room and kitchen and others accessories such as hand bags.

JK Rattan product is manufacture in the Northern part of Vietnam, in the area of the capital – Hanoi – a city of rich cultural, historical and traditional values. We work mainly with natural materials such as bamboo, rattan and seagrass. All our products are handmade, and we are concerned about the quality of our products, quality control is our first priority. Our products provide environmental, social and economic benefits.

Maintenance Guide

Preservation: dry storage, put it away from water sources or places that are easy to be soaked in water, natural rattan soaked in water will mold and affect the appearance
Cleaning: Use a wet paper towel to clean, try to rinse directly with less water
Cleaning method: Gently wipe, it is forbidden to brush hard with a hard brush steel ball, it is easy to damage the rattan fiber
Drying: After use or cleaning, put it in a ventilated place, dry it with a hair dryer in a humid area, and do not expose it to the sun
Mold treatment: Scrub with a soft brush and dry thoroughly
Burr treatment: lightly burn the burr with a lighter, or cut it off with scissors

Rattan weaving generally goes through more than a dozen processes such as rattan cutting (cutting off the knots on the rattan), picking rattan, washing rattan, drying rattan, twisting rattan, pulling rattan (planing rattan), cutting rattan, bleaching, dyeing, weaving, and painting. . Rattan weaving is mainly made of rattan branches, rattan core or bamboo as the skeleton, and then woven with rattan bark or young rattan core, giving full play to the characteristics of rattan that is soft and not easy to break. In terms of color, most of them use the light yellow of the original rattan, or process and bleach it to white or ivory, which looks soft and elegant, and some are matched with coffee and brown.
